Who has to pay the sales & LOT taxes?

We are required by the state of Idaho to charge 6% sales tax and by the city of Sun Valley to charge 3% LOT tax on every sale. The reason for this is that our event is held in the state of Idaho and in the city of Sun Valley, and each patron has to come to our event in order to redeem and use his/her badge.

What is the ticket refund policy?

If you cannot attend the festival, you may obtain a credit toward badges for 2010. We will issue a cash refund in the event of a medical emergency only; a doctor's note is required. You will be charged a 10% processing fee for any credit or refund issued. Requests for credits or refunds must be received by Tuesday, 10-13-09. Complimentary badges have no cash value. This overrides ALL previous refund policies of the Sun Valley Jazz Jamboree.
